As a family-owned New Hampshire business, Cyr Lumber & Home Center believes that supporting the communities we serve is just as important as serving our customers. This year, we proudly donated $15,000 to local Boys & Girls Clubs across New Hampshire, continuing our commitment to community involvement.

The donations were raised through our 21st Annual Cyr Lumber Contractor Golf Tournament, held at Windham Country Club in celebration of Cyr Lumber’s 41st anniversary. With the support of our customers, partners, and employees, proceeds from the event were distributed to three Boys & Girls Club locations near our retail stores:

  • Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem (Salem, NH) — supported on behalf of our Windham location
  • Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region (Laconia, NH) — supported on behalf of our Tilton location
  • Boys & Girls Club Warner Early Learning Center (Warner, NH) — supported on behalf of our Warner location

Supporting Youth and Families Across New Hampshire

During our visit to the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region, we toured the Clubhouse and learned more about the programs that serve local youth every day. The Lakes Region Clubhouse supports approximately 50–60 children daily, with nearly 900 children enrolled across its programs, offering structured activities, STEM and art enrichment, mentorship, academic support, and healthy snacks.

Our donation also supported early childhood programming through the Boys & Girls Club Warner Early Learning Center, a toddler and preschool program that provides daily meals and hands-on learning in a nurturing, community-based environment.

“The Warner community has been such a joy to be a part of. We’ve met so many wonderful families and businesses who have supported and welcomed us. Donations like this allow us to continue providing fun, high-quality care to our members and help us gather materials for our newly added preschool program.”

A Tradition of Giving Back

The Cyr Lumber Contractor Golf Tournament has become a meaningful annual tradition that brings together our customers, partners, and team members for a day of appreciation, friendly competition, and giving back. Each year, the event allows us to reinvest directly into the New Hampshire communities that have supported Cyr Lumber for more than four decades.

We’re grateful to everyone who participated in this year’s tournament and helped make these donations possible. We’re honored to support the Boys & Girls Clubs that make a lasting impact on New Hampshire families — and we look forward to continuing this tradition of community support for years to come.
